Northslide ("Northslide," "we," "I") operates northslide.co. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it.

What this site collects
Information you send me. If you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, company website if you provide one, and whatever you write in the message field. That's it — there are no hidden fields.
Standard server logs. The site is hosted by Netlify, which automatically records technical information about visits: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. This is normal web hosting behavior and I don't review these logs individually.
Fonts. The site loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font files, Google receives your IP address. This is a request your browser makes directly to Google, not something I pass along.
What this site does not do
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, no tracking pixels, no heatmaps.
- No advertising, and no advertising networks.
- No cookies set by Northslide.
- No selling, renting, or trading of your information to anyone, ever.
- No mailing list. Submitting the contact form does not subscribe you to anything.
Why I collect what I collect
Only to reply to you and, if we end up working together, to deliver the work and handle billing. Nothing else.
Who else handles your information
Three services process data on my behalf:
- Formspree — receives contact form submissions and forwards them to my email
- Netlify — hosts the site and handles server logs
- Zoho Mail — provides my email at northslide.co
Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. I don't share your information with anyone beyond what's necessary for these services to function.
How long I keep it
Contact form submissions stay in my email as long as they're relevant. If we work together, I keep project communications and invoicing records for as long as needed to run the business and meet tax obligations. If you ask me to delete your information, I will.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the information I hold about you, ask for corrections, ask for deletion, or object to how it's used. This includes people in the UK and EU under GDPR, in Canada under PIPEDA, and in California under the CCPA.
To exercise any of these, email zander@northslide.co. I'll respond within 30 days. There's no charge and I won't treat you differently for asking.
Security
Contact form submissions travel over encrypted connections. Email is stored in a password-protected account with two-factor authentication. That said, no method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, and I can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
International visitors
Northslide operates from the United States. If you contact me from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the US, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting how I handle information already collected will be communicated directly to anyone affected.
